House Reno: Update

We did a big ol’ thing this summer, and here’s the proof.

I would absolutely recommend most of the people/businesses we used, particularly:

Design: Jennifer Spak (and her husband, Don)
Cabinets and wood flooring: Cabinets to Go
Paint (interior and exterior): Wayne Swineford, Perfection Painting (ask me for his number)

I also LOVED using Dealers Electrical Supply in Sherman.

Lastly, I cannot speak highly enough about banking with Independent Bank. Our local branch in Van Alstyne is beyond incredible.

We also had a good, good friend do a TON of work and a LOT of question-answering for us, and out of our love for him, I will NOT be sharing his name, lest he gain any more popularity in these categories.

AND HERE’S THE AFTER! We did this in the midst of Jeff changing jobs and taking graduate courses. We literally could not have made it through at all, let alone as well as we did, without the support of both of our families. A lot of life happened during this project, both good and hard, and we’re not near as shiny as some of these photos look, but we made it to the other side and we’re all the more confident we have a good, good Father.
