stay right side up
There's a day in February that's full of memories. Almost a decade ago, my original family joined with another through adoption and became something completely new. A few years later, same day, a very important friend suddenly died. The next year, on the exact same date, we became parents.
Today, social media reminded me of something I wrote on one of those days. I know which one, but with the creativity afforded to those of us who write history, I may choose to remember it a little differently.
They say to keep from getting dizzy, we should focus our eyes on one solitary object. A tiny pinprick of a thing. Can't break focus or be casual about it. Not if you want to stay right side up. The trick is setting focus on something, someone who won't move, ever, period. Fight the good fight, friends, and know Who is on your side.
